My name is Jen Matthews, and I’m a 25-year-old entrepreneur in Nova Scotia, Canada. I own To The Root Electrolysis Studio, where I get to work with an incredible range of clients every day. Fun fact: I’m also the youngest director on the board for the Federation of Canadian Electrologist Associations! As a Certified Professional Electrologist, I specialize in permanent hair removal, a trade that allows me to support women with PCOS and gender-diverse folks dealing with gender dysphoria. It’s a huge honour to help people in my community feel amazing and gift them back their femininity.
