ABOUT BUSINESS

The Steele Family Foundation is a Canadian registered charity focused on supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable populations through three core pillars: humanitarian support, grassroots community programs, and education. Its humanitarian work includes partnerships and funding for homelessness, hospice care, and addiction support, while its grassroots pillar invests directly in local community initiatives to strengthen connection and long-term stability.

At the center of the foundation’s work is its education pillar, delivered through the WISE Scholarship Program™, a structured, multi-year “earn to learn” model designed to guide participants over time, not just fund them once. WISE combines financial support with ongoing mentorship, verified development tracking, and a purpose-built digital platform that monitors progress across academics, extracurriculars, and community involvement. This approach ensures participants build real readiness for post-secondary education and long-term success.

What makes the foundation unique is its ability to operate across immediate humanitarian needs while also building long-term, scalable education systems, using structured programming, technology, and partnerships to create measurable and lasting impact.
